Looking for a Job
Why is work important?
Paid or voluntary work provides structure, builds social skills and increases self-confidence.
Can you find me a job?
People come to EmployAbility when they have decided they would like to work. You may want to volunteer, or you might want a paid job. Some people choose to work for themselves, and we support that too.
Because you might find it difficult to get a job by yourself, we offer a service that can help. We match you with employers who can offer you placements, opportunities and paid work:
- Supported or unsupported volunteering
- Paid work for just a few hours per week, or for longer
- Help to start your own business and keep it going
What do I need to do?
If you would like to talk to us about getting a job, just get in touch. We will talk to you about the sort of work you would like to do, and then we can start to look for an employer who can help.
