Our Shared Lives Practitioner, Jo caught up with Janet at her new home in Surrey who she shares with carers Frank and Emma. Janet had been looking for a Shared Lives placement so she could become more independent whilst staying in a family setting. She was very proud of the fact that she has new clothes and shoes as she has successfully lost some weight. Janet also told Jo as soon as she walked in that she was very happy and it was “a very happy house”.
