The Man In The Moon and Rhythmic Collision Dance Company (based at Surrey Choices Lockwood, Guildford) were literally over the moon with their result at this years Godalming Music Festival, 90 marks and Honours for their piece “Welcome to Holland” based on the moving essay by Emily Perl Kingsley. The piece was about the experience of having a child with disabilities.
Employment programme success in school

Election 2015 – Supporting people to vote
Local councillors Carol Coleman (Conservative), Daniel Jenkins (UKIP), Robert Evans (Labour), Richard Walsh (Conservative) and Ian Beardsmore (Liberal Democrats) are meeting at Nexus Day Service, Sunbury to chat to the people who attend, about what each political party represents and how politics impacts on disabled lives.
Roy’s Christmas wish comes true – eventually!
Roy Brandon, from, was left a little disappointed at Christmas when Santa failed to deliver the iPad he longed for.
He had been using similar tablets regularly for a number of months during sessions at Lockwood, in Guildford and had hoped to receive one for Christmas.
When Roy’s keyworker, Peta Hayden heard about his disappointment, a plan was put into place to help fulfil Roy’s wish. We immediately started a campaign, working with people across the organisation to get him an iPad.
Mind the Gap drama production
Respect Drama Group join in the communications study day at Ashford and St Peters Hospital this week.
