This includes the Cranstock Activity Centre and is aimed at disabled people, autistic people, those with complex needs, older people and those with other support needs, whatever their age
It is based in the thriving hamlet of St John’s in Woking, with a good selection of local shops within walking distance. The centre is right next to a bus stop with direct buses to Woking town centre.
Activities on offer include sensory activities, hydrotherapy, Wheels 4 All cycling, Swim 4 All, cookery, arts and crafts and music. This is a fully accessible centre with three hoisted bathrooms, large hoisted sensory room, Snoezelen and sensory garden with wheelchair swing. Every Wednesday evening, we have a ‘Colourful Expressions’ group where we make jewellery, cards and other beautiful items. This group has free access to RHS Wisley Gardens and Henley Fort and they attend various workshops and team building days and offer trips to farms, museums and the coast. There is a Friday lunch club where customers can cook their own nutritious two-course hot meal and enjoy eating together in a communal setting.
