Farnham Community Group

Unlike all our other groups, Farnham Community Group does not have a centralised hub. The group spend most of their time out in the community, building up partnerships with local organisations, they utilise spaces such as the church cafes, the gym, and the library to be visible in their community.  

Some of the activities they do include: 

• Visiting the local leisure centre to work on their fitness.  
• Communication and social skills to enable people to speak up and make their own decisions  
• Learning how to read street signs and Makaton.  
• Social outings in local communities including travel training, pub visits, and heading to the library to improve reading skills.
