Bletchingley Community Hub update
We have been working with individuals, families, and other care providers to find more inclusive ways for Surrey Choices to help people achieve their aspirations and get the care they need. To ensure each person’s support is tailored to their needs and desired outcomes, we have adopted a Person Centred Planning process.
Following the completion of Person Centred Plans for everyone who previously accessed Bletchingley Hub, it has been encouraging to see the different ways that people have reached for greater levels of inclusion. Everyone who has been involved now has a more individualised support plan, with a mixture of support based within a Community Hub and out in the community.
As we aim to make sure that everyone has support in accessible community places, this means we have made the decision to no longer hold sessions in the Bletchingley Hub. Instead, we will continue to provide support according to each individual’s timetable of activities, which has been developed collaboratively during the Person Centred Planning process. This support will be provided from Longmead Hub in Redhill and The Westway Hub in Caterham, depending on which location is closest and suitable to each person.
