Surrey Choices opens new Community Hub in Redhill

Longmead is a purpose built building based in the heart of Redhill and is Surrey Choices’ new and exciting community hub.
Longmead is a multifaceted building that will allow various groups of disabled people to have a presence in the Redhill community. There will be respite services, an IT suite for hot-desk working, cooking groups, modern facilities for people with complex needs, an innovative sensory room and meeting room facilities.
The new hub is an exciting opportunity for Surrey Choices and the community. It means that we will have a modern and flexible facility that will allow us to continue our work of community inclusion, citizenship and meaningful engagement with a variety of disabled people, their families, Carers and others in Surrey.
This purpose built building is an integral part of the work Surrey Choices is doing to provide people we support with a variety of opportunities such as; employment, volunteering, vocational learning, independent living and life skills, friendships, relationships and community access. The building will have a huge impact on people’s lives and provide a solid and innovative base to continue developing these opportunities.
We are in the final stages of completing the building and we are working extremely hard to create new environments and opportunities as I mentioned above. Our goal is to open up in Spring 2021!
