Festive Hours 2023

Surrey Choices will be providing different support over the festive period across all our services.  

Details on the arrangements for each service are below:

Community Choices, Flexi-Choices, Vocational Projects and Travel Choices

We will be closing our services on Friday 22 December 2023, and we will reopen on Wednesday 3 January 2024. 

Services will therefore not be operational on the following days: 

• Saturday 23 December 2023
• Sunday 24 December 2023
• Christmas Day, Monday 25 December 2023

• Boxing Day, Tuesday 26 December 2023
• Thursday 28 December 2023
• Friday 29 December 2023
• Saturday 30 December 2023

• Sunday 31 December 2023
• New Year’s Day, Monday 1 January 2024 
• Colleague Training Day, Tuesday 2 January 2024  

Community Choices will offer limited support to those who live with family Carers (Excluding Flexi-Choices) where the closure may cause significant challenges. This will be agreed on an individual basis. Please contact your service if you would like to discuss this further. 

EmployAbility and Future Choices

EmployAbility services will continue to operate throughout the festive period excluding bank holidays.

Short Breaks Banstead

Short Breaks Banstead will be closed from 4.00pm on Sunday 24 December and will reopen at 12.00pm on Saturday 30 December 2023. 

Shared Lives

Will continue to operate throughout the festive period on a rota basis except on Bank Holidays and weekends, when an on-call arrangement will be in place.  

Back-office Teams

Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and Communications, and IT will not be available on Bank Holidays, but will provide cover throughout the festive and New Year period at all other times. There will also be an Executive Team on call rota throughout the period.
