Individual Spotlight: Marc
The Surrey Choices’ Growth Team and the Empower Results team from Aon Plc joined forces on Thursday 11 June to landscape our Short Breaks Banstead.
Our Growth Team usually take on a variety of countryside management projects, maintaining rights of way across the county including large public spaces but it was a great experience to work on something closer to home. The team worked hard sprucing up the grounds of our brand new Short Breaks accommodation to ensure each guest has a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy.
This day’s work was held in association with Aon Plc that were holding a Global Service Day. Aon colleagues in more than 40 countries volunteered their time and efforts to support over 170 organisations that empower people and serve communities.
The weather was perfect and the team powered through a huge amount of work from planting borders, building a raised sensory flower bed, to installing trellises for climbing plants to grow and tidying up the area at the front of the accommodation.
The day was a huge success and we look forward to working together again.
