We’re Celebrating Multiple Wins at the Surrey Care Awards
Students from Clifton Hill School are transforming an area of their school into a garden and achieving this as part of an Employment Works Programme run with EmployAbility. A variety of skills are being learnt and reinforced including team work, timekeeping, use of tools, planning and ground maintenance.
This is part of a pilot with the school they are developing into a project they hope they will be able to take into their community in the future as part of work experience. We have worked with the school to develop vocational opportunities for their students and we are already seeing some great teamwork from a group of students who need significant support.
