40 Years of Friendship
Sheila and John have had a friendship that has lasted for over 40 years and have always enjoyed each other’s company. The coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult for them to see each other over the last 13 months as they live in different towns.
As the coronavirus restrictions began to ease, John and Surrey Choices colleagues arranged a face to face visit with Sheila so they could see each other again.
After a long 13 months John and Sheila found themselves face to face in Sheila’s back garden. Surrey Choices colleague, Cheryl, said: “It was lovely to see how happy they were to see each other.”
This visit had a huge impact on John and Sheila. They were both delighted to see each other after such a long time. Face to face interaction can have a huge benefit on your mental health as it reduces social isolation. John and Sheila are looking forward to meeting up again and hope the sunny weather continues!
