A dose of vitamin sea
Kimberley has lived with her Shared Lives Carer, Patricia, for one year. Over Summer, they have been busy doing different activities to let Kimberley try new experiences.
A couple of weeks ago they visited Southend with the Church group that they attend each Sunday. They travelled down as a group by coach and enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine, swimming in the sea and cooling down with ice cream. She even ventured onto some rollercoaster rides. Kimberley also joined a group who were playing volleyball on the beach, despite not having tried this before, and really enjoyed learning how to play.
She had an amazing day and enjoyed the whole experience of meeting new people and being part of her wider community as well as enjoying the day with her Shared Lives Carer and family.
