We’re Celebrating Multiple Wins at the Surrey Care Awards
Our staff, customers and volunteers enjoyed a cup of tea and a slice of cake to support popular Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning fundraiser.
As a result of the generosity of our donors, and the continued hard work from our staff and volunteers, we were able to raise an astounding £1264.35.
Events were held across Surrey at five of our locations on Friday, as well as in the run up to the event.
Paula Carman, Events Coordinator at Surrey Choices, commented: “I’m really grateful to everyone who attended the coffee mornings and contributed to the charity.
“I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff, customers, and volunteers who worked hard to plan the event and ensure the mornings ran smoothly.”
Here are the following totals which were received and will help improve the lives of people with cancer:
Lockwood Activity Centre – £323.35
Nexus Activity Centre – £103.90
The Harbour Activity Centre – £200.00
Fernleigh Activity Centre – £137.00
Priory Gate Activity Centre – £238.60
The Larches Activity Centre – £50.00 (approximately)
The Civic Centre – £65.00
Woking Resource Centre – £146.50
