When AT first joined EmployAbility, he already had a wealth of experience working in retail but had been out of work for a while and wanted to try something new.

With the help of his Employment Support Specialist, Janet, he secured some work experience as a kitchen assistant.

This gave him the chance to learn some new skills and see if this was a career he would like to pursue. He enjoyed it so much that he decided he was ready to apply for a job at the Toby Carvery.

After several weeks of training in the kitchen and undertaking online courses, AT was offered a job as Kitchen Assistant. His new manager is very pleased with his progress and shared that:

“AT is a pleasure to work with. He is diligent, professional and works well within the team.”
