We are excited to announce that Surrey Choices were on BBC Radio Surrey recently as part of their big bus tour around Surrey.
The bus tour visited different parts of Surrey throughout the week and spoke with members of the local community in each location. This final show of the week was based in Camberley.
As part of the radio show the BBC presenters spoke to our very own Camberley Community Group, where customers represented us and spoke about our values as a company and what they enjoy about attending their group.
They were supported by their Service Coordinator, Lydia Simpson, to talk about what they do live on air. They all represented Surrey Choices and our values brilliantly as they talked about independence, community integration, having fun, learning, relationships and friendships.
Lydia also spoke about the Growth Team, but most importantly highlighted our number one value – putting our customers first.
Lydia said: “We are extremely proud of our customers, they did a fantastic job at representing us. It was great that they were given the opportunity to go live on air and explain exactly what Surrey Choices stands for.”
“Our customers had a wonderful afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
