Surrey Choices renews Disability Confident Leader status
The office project team work all year developing office skills, building their confidence, independence and ambitions to work towards paid or voluntary employment.
The team arranged a Christmas feast to celebrate their achievements over the past year, funded by the work they do for their local community.
Our local Tesco community representative dropped in with hot chocolate with marshmallows and mince pies (following the team’s recent team visit to their local store to find out more about where their food comes from). A local school supported our event with a full hot christmas lunch at cost price.
A Magic show was provided by EmployAbility’s own multi talented Employment Support Officer Dave O’Connor. This included an escape act in true Houdini fashion!
It was great to see so many partners in the community joining supporting our celebrations. Thanks to all the team and their supporters in their local community. We look forward to working with them all during 2015.
