A Decade of Difference: Surrey Choices Celebrates 10 Years
2015 marks the second year that The Bentley Choir have been invited to take part in Choiroke at the Dorking Halls.
Choiroke invites a number of choirs from around Surrey to give a variety of people a chance to sing on stage. The Bentley Choir are the first choir to use Makaton signing to accompany their songs. Their proudest moment was teaching the audience the song in Makaton then seeing everyone join in.
The Bentley Choir is made up of Rosemary, Elaine, Kerrie, Samantha and Emma and are helped by Tracey and Jane. Their first song was ‘Real Love’ by Tom Odell followed by ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’. The Choir got a huge round of applause and were all buzzing when they got off the stage. Tracey and Jane were really proud of the Choir, they were brilliant!
The Bentley Choir had a fantastic evening and we would like to thank Dave for taking lots of photos and for everyone who supported us at Bentley or who came down to Dorking Halls that evening.
If you are interested in joining this friendly choir based in Banstead, Surrey give us a call on 01483 806806 and we can help connect you with the Choir Leader.
