A Vintage pop-up tea room is being set up in 25 Swan Lane, Guildford to celebrate Dementia Awareness week from 18 -22 May, this is in association with Tea and Memories at Surrey Choices Lockwood.
All the Furniture, Furnishings and Crockery will be transported from the Cosy 1940’s Tea Room at Lockwood Day service to the pop-up shop as a special tea and memories event.
Peta Hayden who is organised the event from Surrey Choices said “This is the second time we will be using the pop-up tearoom, It was such a great success and so popular we hope keeping it up for a week will attract lots of new customers to experience Tea and Memories and it’s a fitting activity to promote and celebrate Dementia Awareness week ”
Tea and Memories Guildford is held at Lockwood Day Service every Thursday and the last Wednesday of each month from 1.30pm.
