Making money on eBay
One hobby that Jenny loves to do, is to buy and build Lego models. She is now at a point where she is selling her products on eBay due to her skill and precision.
Jenny is quite shy, and when it comes to Lego it brings out her confidence, creative flare and a real sense of achievement. With the support of her Shared Lives Carers, Jenny sells her products, which provide the revenue to buy other Lego packs to continue building. This creates a sustainable way of continuing her hobby and demonstrates her independence, through buying packs with her own money from her sales.
Outcomes
As you can see from the pictures Jenny has created carousels, London buses, Harry Potter world and other models of great interest to her.
Jenny commented:
“I am really proud of the models that I have made. It is a great sense of achievement and hobby to have at home.”
Shared Lives Deputy Manager, Nicola Casbierd also spoke about how good the models were.
