It’s been a great month here at Surrey Choices with plenty of awards to shout about. In particular, this week we are celebrating after winning a prestigious award at the BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey Community Heroes Awards.
Winners in the category of Sport, our Rebound Therapy team impressed the judges with their dedication and contribution to local sporting life. Their coaches encourage our customers to participate in the Rebound Therapy sessions.
Rebound Therapy uses trampolines to provide therapeutic exercise and recreation for people requiring a wide range of support, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, sensory impairments and people with autistic spectrum conditions.
The exercise helps to promote balance, facilitate movement, increase or decrease muscle tone and aids relaxation and sensory integration.
Now in its seventh year, the awards recognised unsung heroes from across the two counties, with winners reflecting everything from good neighbours to sporting achievement.
Jessica Williams, Marketing and Communications Manager at Surrey Choices, said: “It’s an honour to be part of these amazing celebrations with such worthy winners from across Surrey and Sussex.
“A huge well done to the whole team, customers, staff and managers for all of the hard work that they have put in over the past few years to making Rebound Therapy such a success. They should be extremely proud.”
