Salvatore generously donates to the local food bank for Christmas
Salvatore is supported at Fernleigh Community Hub. He wanted to help the local community over the festive period by donating non-perishable food items.
Salvatore was very passionate about this project and so a collection at Fernleigh was arranged. He chose all the items he donated which included biscuits, jams, sauces, rice, pasta, chocolate and more. He just wanted to help others have a lovely Christmas.
As part of the group’s community partnership with The Trussell Trust Food Bank, they have donated over 30 boxes of homegrown fruit and vegetables over the year. Offering small acts of kindness goes a long way in boosting your own and someone else’s wellbeing. The group at Fernleigh have loved being able to put a smile on other people’s faces.
