The benefits of work experience
Our gym group from Mid Surrey were invited to perform at the Leatherhead and Dorking Gymnastics Club 40th anniversary celebrations. The Club organised an impressive show which boasted an Olympic and Paralympic theme that encompassed all age ranges and abilities in the programme.
The Club is used weekly by the Surrey Choices Gym group to encourage health and wellbeing for our customers. Movement, balance and coordination are all key areas our gymnasts work on, plus the added element of teamwork to produce a successful gym display. The social aspect of our gymnastics group is just as important as the health benefits.
The Leatherhead and Dorking Gymnastics Club is an inclusive organisation for Gymnastics for all levels in the area and operates under the guidance of the British Gymnastics board. Click here to find out more about this organisation.
