We’re Celebrating Multiple Wins at the Surrey Care Awards
A group of students were celebrating this week after successfully completing their Supported Internships with Surrey Choices.
Supported Internships help young people to achieve sustainable, paid employment. The progamme allows the young person to learn in the workplace whilst also having the chance to study for relevant qualifications, if suitable, at an appropriate level.
The Internships normally last for a year and include at least six months of unpaid work experience. The students who have completed the Supported internship with Surrey Choices worked in partnership with East Surrey College and their work placements were with local employers in the Redhill and Reigate area.
Congratulations to all the students who completed their Internships. What a great achievement!
