A Decade of Difference: Surrey Choices Celebrates 10 Years
Jack is a customer from the Surrey Choices Growth Team, who preserve the wonderful Surrey countryside and many public spaces, working with lots of people on different projects. Whilst we are celebrating #NationalAutismAwarenessWeek, we had a chat with Jack about Autism and his life to find out a little bit more about him:
How has your Autism helped you achieve your goals?
I have a great memory and I have a lot of support with my education allowing me to work towards the things I enjoy and gain work experience
Have you been able to educate others about Autism?
Yes, I speak to people and tell them all about Autism and how it effects my life which they might not have known
Do you think the public are more aware of Autism now?
Yes and now there are more things for people to do who have Autism. There are lots of things on TV and the internet so people know a lot about it now than they used to which is really important
Do you know someone famous that has Autism?
No, but Mark (Growth Team Senior Activity Facilitator) knows Chris Packham!
