Hello, my name is Oliver. I started at the Office Project five years ago and my favourite thing about the project is that I get to meet new people and make friends, take on a range of tasks and learn lots of useful skills which has helped me towards finding a job.
Thanks to the help of my Employment Support Specialist Carolyn Tucker, I was able to secure my dream job working at Dramatize! Dramatize host theatrical workshops for disabled adults. Carolyn and the EmployAbility team really helped me through the whole process of writing my CV, applying for jobs of my interest, supported me through the interview stage and now continue to check in every now and then to see how I am doing at work. My goal for my future is to continue working hard at Dramatize, it is such a fun place to work and I get along so well with everyone there.
My social skills have improved since going to Surrey Choices as I have made many friends and I enjoy talking to them each time I see them. Working at Dramatize has also really helped me to gain confidence in a professional environment and I am so happy to have found such a great job.
