Jackie Doe

Senior Operations Manager – Community Choices

Jackie brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting people in our community. Having worked with Surrey Choices for over five years, starting with EmployAbility and most recently as the Area Operations Manager for Vocational Projects and Travel Choices, Jackie is already familiar with our organisation and its values.

Prior to joining us, she ran her own business for two years, providing training and consultancy support for education and care settings across the southeast. Before that, Jackie served as the Deputy Headteacher of a specialist residential school for Autistic children based in West Sussex for six years. Her extensive background also includes working in other SEND settings and a mainstream independent boarding school. Notably, she engaged in a year-long project with an orphanage for disabled children in Romania, focusing on upskilling the staff to provide better therapeutic value in their day-to-day work. Her interests in Autism, different methods of communication, nature-based activities, and supporting people’s informed choices align perfectly with our values.

Jackie is thrilled to be stepping into this Senior Operations role and is looking forward to working closely with Anne over the coming month to ensure a smooth handover and transition. Jackie is also excited to connect with the Community Choices team, especially those she has not had the opportunity to meet yet. I am confident that Jackie’s expertise and enthusiasm will greatly contribute to the continued success of Surrey Choices and the wellbeing of the people we support.

Jackie will be taking over the management for Community Choices on Monday 3 July 2023. She will retain management responsibility for Vocational Projects and Travel Choices, which will remain separate to Community Choices.
