The Lucan Tea Room

The Lucan Tea Room, located within The Lucan Pavilion, Laleham, has reopened as a training cafe run by Surrey Choices, for disabled and neurodivergent people. The community cafe is a welcoming space for people to enjoy delicious treats but also to give disabled people an opportunity to develop their catering, food hygiene, stock control and customer service skills. It will help people to get ready for work through supported volunteering and be a key part of the community.

What we offer

You can visit the cafe Monday – Friday 9:00am – 3.00pm (excluding bank holidays) to enjoy refreshments, breakfasts, cakes and lunches. There is seating available both inside and outside overlooking Laleham sports field. It is family (and dog) friendly, with highchairs and games available for children to enjoy

Partners

The Lucan Tea Room have recently partnered with Chimney Fire Coffee. In August 2022 they became a certified B Corporation, an international commendation of social and environmental performance. The B Corp community is a nonprofit organisation, transforming global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

Our own coffee grounds from the cafe are being recycled back into our local Gardening Projects.
