Our nationally recognised, award-winning Supported Employment service, EmployAbility, uses a personalised approach to support disabled, autistic and neurodivergent people to find sustainable paid work, opportunities for volunteering, or work experience placements. We support both the person into work and the employer, focusing on matching the right person to the right job.
We offer different programmes and services based on need, age and the outcome that a person would like to achieve.
We are active members of The British Association of Supported Employment (BASE) where we work together with other providers to improve the employment rate for disabled people and follow The Supported Employment National Occupational Standards.
Your Employment Journey
We cover all aspects of an employment journey, starting with our ‘getting ready for work’ projects, day to day working practices, career guidance, job searches, CV writing and interview preparation. Our programmes of support include supported volunteering in cafes, a podcast station and Supported Internships for those with or without Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
For those in work, we provide job coaching and ongoing support for both the employee and employer. We provide support with everything, from volunteering opportunities to work experience to support with paid work.
We work closely with schools and colleges in Surrey and its surrounding areas to help young people to prepare for their journey into work.
