About Surrey Choices

We provide a range of support services to improve the independence, confidence and life skills of people with a range of disabilities and support needs, whatever their age, in their local community.

Surrey Choices supports disabled people, autistic people, those with sensory needs, those with mental health problems and older people. Our objective is to allow every person the chance to fulfil their potential and reach their goals, through enjoying, learning and achieving.

We support our customers by matching them to relevant services and creating a support package and plan based on theirs needs and wants. Through this, we support our customers to develop skills and achieve their short and long-term goals. Additional support, advice or signposting is provided when required.

Our dedicated team offers support through a wide range of activities in our day and community services, home and living, through Short Breaks respite and Shared Lives and employment and learning, via our nationally recognised support employment service, EmployAbility.

Surrey Choices launched in August 2014 as a Local Authority Trading Company (LATC). Surrey Choices was created and is now wholly-owned by Surrey County Council. We work in partnership with them to provide adult social care services for those with support needs in Surrey and the surrounding areas. As a LATC Surrey Choices is driven by long-term social and economic value with the flexibility to provide services based around the customers wants and needs.
