Kickstart Opportunities for Young People
Kickstart is a government scheme to provide job opportunities for 16-24 year olds in receipt of Universal Credit. The contracts run for a period of 6 months at 25 hours a week and are paid at minimum wage. Employees are also entitled to participate in workplace employee benefit schemes (eg shopping discounts, etc)

Assistant at Short Breaks Banstead – To provide support to manager at an overnight respite service
Music Specialist Support Worker – Working with people with disabilities and additional needs to encourage then to play and produce music for fun and wellbeing
Job Coach – To teach people with additional needs how to perform work related task at employer sites
Engagement and Inclusion Officer (expert by experience) – Advocating for the rights of autistic people Surrey and providing training to help raise awareness
E-commerce Assistant – Support disabled people to sell their own crafts on-line and to use social media
Art Specialist Support Worker – Working with people with disabilities and additional needs to inspire then to produce art projects
Administrator (FlexiChoices) – To introduce and support new respite service for families of people with additional needs. The duties will include basic admin, arranging packages of care, negotiating with families and social care teams and ensuring staff have the tools they need to provide good quality care
