Surrey Choices renews Disability Confident Leader status
Surrey Choices are proud to announce that their 2020 Local Charity of The Year is Mind Woking and Surrey.
More than 40 charities across Surrey put themselves forward to be supported by Surrey Choices throughout 2020. Colleagues and disabled people supported by Surrey Choices voted internally, as well as the public via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter polls. All of the results were put together from social media and Surrey Choices polls and the majority of people voted for Mind Woking and Surrey.
Mind Woking and Surrey are a charity who provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of Mental Health. Their aim is to ensure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
Surrey Choices has recently made a commitment to being a Mindful Employer and look forward to working in partnership with Mind Woking and Surrey to continue raising awareness of Mental Health.
