Surrey Choices is a Local Authority Trading Company that provides support services to disabled and autistic people and is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the Young Persons Graduation event in 2023. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the lives of our young participants, highlighting their accomplishments and the positive impact made possible through vital partnerships with organisations such as East Surrey College, Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development, and KFC Headquarters in Woking.

The Young Persons Graduation event, served as a testament to the dedication and hard work put forth by our incredible graduates, as well as the unwavering support provided by our esteemed partners. These partnerships have been instrumental in fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment that enables the young participants to realise their full potential and achieve their goals.

East Surrey College, a renowned institution of higher education, has been a cornerstone of this collaboration. This is the first year that Surrey Choices has partnered with the college to deliver on our Supported Internship programme, which has empowered our young learners to develop their skills, acquire new knowledge, and explore various career pathways. This partnership has allowed the graduates to gain a competitive edge in the job market and take significant steps towards a brighter future.

Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development, known for its exceptional outdoor education programmes, has played a pivotal role in promoting physical and mental well-being among our participants. Through their engaging and enriching experiences, the young learners have not only developed teamwork, leadership, and communication skills but also gained a deeper appreciation for nature and the environment.

Additionally, we are delighted to acknowledge the support and involvement of KFC Headquarters in Woking. Their commitment to corporate social responsibility has been exemplary, as they have actively engaged with our young participants in various initiatives, providing valuable insights into the world of work and business.
