Partnership working in Laleham

Best Buds Forever

A group of people we support at Laleham have been working with the parks department who work at the same site. The parks department are responsible for the beautiful flower displays around the borough.

The Laleham group often speak to the parks department and over time they have built a good relationship.

As a result, they decided to partner with the parks department to prepare displays for the borough. They work in the greenhouse, cleaning the display baskets to prevent plant diseases spreading, fill pots with compost in preparation for the plants, and discuss which plants to use depending on the season and weather.

The group have found it very rewarding to walk around the local area and see members of the public admiring their hard work.
