Since joining Surrey Choices Ashford Office project and The Laleham Project, my confidence has grown, I am more independent and I now feel more prepared for the future. I recently received an achievement award in Health and Safety which I feel very proud of. I also now have a job volunteering in a cafe in Staines which I have been doing for 8 months and really enjoy… especially the free coffee!
Prior to joining Surrey Choices, I was nervous about public transport and travelling on my own. I was given travel training and am I now traveling by bus to Staines which makes me feel a lot more independent and means I can go where I wish to, when I would like to.
My goals for the future are to get a paid job, get fitter and stronger and maybe get involved with some wrestling classes as I am very keen on this sport!
I’d like to say that Surrey Choices have helped me become a stronger person and I feel really proud of my achievements.
