We are opening a brand new service in January, offering respite care. Work is well under way in Banstead to have our high quality and affordable short breaks respite service equipped and ready to support a variety of people with a range of needs.
Surrey Choices’ EmployAbility team has teamed up with University of Surrey to offer a range of work experience placements for students from Freemantles school (a school for people with Autism). For two terms, students will be able to access roles including office support, catering, retail and facilities allowing students to gain the skills they need to go out into the world of work.
The office project team work all year developing office skills, building their confidence, independence and ambitions to work towards paid or voluntary employment.
The team arranged a Christmas feast to celebrate their achievements over the past year, funded by the work they do for their local community.
Firestone Rock Band hosted a lunchtime Christmas concert early in December, getting everyone in the mood for the festivities across our services.

The newly revamped Colebrook has bagged a £1,000 prize in a national competition held by Dulux, thanks to overwhelming support from the Redhill community.
Colebrook was shortlisted for the prize after it transformed its premises using a paint donation from the Let’s Colour project – colouring its walls with bright splashes of paint in a modern art style.
