The Man In The Moon and Rhythmic Collision Dance Company (based at Surrey Choices Lockwood, Guildford) were literally over the moon with their result at this years Godalming Music Festival, 90 marks and Honours for their piece “Welcome to Holland” based on the moving essay by Emily Perl Kingsley. The piece was about the experience of having a child with disabilities.

Roy Brandon, from, was left a little disappointed at Christmas when Santa failed to deliver the iPad he longed for.
He had been using similar tablets regularly for a number of months during sessions at Lockwood, in Guildford and had hoped to receive one for Christmas.
When Roy’s keyworker, Peta Hayden heard about his disappointment, a plan was put into place to help fulfil Roy’s wish. We immediately started a campaign, working with people across the organisation to get him an iPad.

After dedicated 40 years of her life to helping people in her local community, Linda Phillips was one of just 28 people given a British Citizen Award at an inaugural ceremony held at the House of Lords at the end of January .
