Surrey Choices join Wellbeing event at The University of Surrey

On Thursday 5 May 2016 we celebrated at the Wellbeing event the five year partnership between Surrey Choices and The University of Surrey

Surrey Choices EmployAbility have been supporting students from Freemantles School, Woking, in their second placement of the year at The University of Surrey. This is part of their supported internship course which they undertake in their final year at the school to help them on their journey towards work.

Bryan Celebrates Passing English Exam This Action For Brain Injury Week

A Surrey Choices customer, who sustained a brain injury in a road traffic accident, is celebrating this Action for Brain Injury Week after moving one step closer to achieving his dream.

Bryan, aged 35, is celebrating after passing a number of English exams, allowing him to work towards gaining an art qualification.

Bryan, from Spelthorne, has been a Surrey Choices customer for seven years, which has helped him regain skills he lost due to his injury.

Christmas Tree Festival of Gifts

Surrey Choices customers at Woking Resource Centre have decorated a Christmas Tree which has been displayed at the United Reform Church, Dorking Christmas Tree Festival of Gifts.

The entry by Surrey Choices and Woking Resource centre is displayed in the church and is among a display of 30 Christmas Trees, each provided by different groups from around the area.

Community Golf in Dorking

Customers from Dorking Community group celebrated the last session of Community Golf in Christmas Style. The Autumn League concluded this week with 19 sites competing for top place.  It was great to have five new Surrey Choices sites compete, with DorkingCommunity Project and Woking Community Group taking second and third spots respectively, behind Woodmansterne Project…
